Beaches Ultrasound is an independent, doctor-run imaging practice affiliated with Vein Doctors Sydney and Sydney Endovascular. It provides state-of-the-art ultrasound services for the Northern Beaches community. Services provided are patient centered with open communication between our doctors and referring GPs/specialists. Accurate reports are released to referring doctors in a timely manner to ensure the best care possible is provided to patients.

Dr Ryan McConnell
Dr McConnell is an Australian trained endovascular specialist and interventional neuroradiologist. He has extensive experience in both diagnostic and procedural ultrasound and performs over 500 endovascular procedures each year.
Dr McConnell graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery. He completed his radiology training at Royal North Shore Hospital and is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Dr McConnell has undergone subspecialty fellowship training in peripheral endovascular intervention and interventional neuroradiology.
Ryan’s main areas of expertise include diagnostic and interventional vascular imaging, interventional musculoskeletal procedures/injections and neurovascular imaging/procedures. Dr McConnell aims to provide the highest quality of minimally invasive procedures, whilst minimizing pain and post-recovery time.
